Debriefing of “International Transport and Logistics Exhibition” (Salon International du Transport et de la Logistique – SITL)

From 1 to 3 April 2025, Acsystème had the opportunity to take part in SITL in Paris. As exhibitors alongside our partner Promalyon, an integrator specialising in palletising robotics for logistics and end-of-line, we were able to showcase our expertise to key players in the sector.

But first of all, what is SITL?

Every year, the International Transport and Logistics Exhibition brings together the main players in the sector, as well as emerging companies that are revolutionising the supply chain. All links in the supply chain are represented: intralogistics, automation, robotics, IoT, information systems, as well as infrastructure, alternative energies and logistics real estate.

The show is also a forum for discussions on training, financing and innovation. Major groups such as Amazon, Ikea, L’Oréal, Michelin and Renault were present to meet future partners and anticipate future challenges.

This 42ᵉ edition brought together more than 26,000 participants, 542 exhibitors, over 150 conferences and strengthened its international dimension with 21 countries represented.

The key themes addressed this year included:

  • decarbonising transport,
  • new CSR challenges facing logistics,
  • digital innovation and Industry 4.0,
  • process automation to reorganise and optimise the supply chain.

Our presence at the show

Our stand featured a demonstration of our heterogeneous palletising solution, which attracted a great deal of interest.

Alongside our partner Promalyon, an expert in robotic palletising and depalletising solutions, we were able to showcase the complementary nature of our expertise in supporting the transformation of logistics warehouses.

The demonstration highlighted our ability to optimise the filling of pallets, taking into account constraints of size, weight and stability, thanks to intelligent algorithms incorporating specific business rules.

It provided a concrete illustration of our approach, which combines modelling, simulation, optimisation and artificial intelligence to generate more efficient, adaptive and economically viable logistics solutions.

The many discussions on our stand gave us the opportunity to present our full range of supply chain skills, in particular:

  • production scheduling,
  • logistics and industrial planning,
  • route and delivery optimisation,
  • flow and inventory management,
  • integration of AI into decision-support tools,
  • making WMS/ERP data more reliable and more valuable

These discussions enabled us to identify current operational challenges and demonstrate how our customised expertise can respond effectively.

Shaping the future of logistics

During the show, our discussions with numerous players in the sector confirmed the relevance and added value of our approach:

  • developing tailor-made solutions to optimise logistics organisation,
  • improving productivity and effectively integrating the technologies of the future.

These meetings strengthened our position as a trusted partner for supporting companies in their innovation projects, by placing business expertise and the ongoing quest for sustainable performance at the heart of our approach.

Inspiring conferences

SITL also offered the opportunity to attend a number of conferences led by renowned experts.

Among those that caught our attention:

Our partner Promalyon presented the impact of articulated robots in logistics palletising, showing how these technologies are becoming essential for improving productivity, reducing costs and meeting the challenges posed by drudgery, recruitment and increased flows. Robotisation solutions enable more reliable, flexible and scalable order preparation, tailored to the warehouses of tomorrow.

Conferences on the main stage

On the Main Stage, a number of conferences were organised around key themes, bringing together major players in the sector to share their vision and feedback:

  • 1 April – AI & Digital Transformation: Shaping the Future of European Supply Chain:
This conference explored how artificial intelligence and digital transformation are boosting the efficiency, resilience and sustainability of European supply chains.
Speakers: Gilles Babinet (Conseil National du Numérique), Aymeric Daher (DAHER Logistics), Fernando Liesa (ALICE), Olivier Storch (CEVA), Alexandre Lima (Renault Supply Chain).
  • April 3 – AI, Automation, Robotics: intralogistics in the 4.0 era:
This round table highlighted how innovations in AI, automation and robotics are redefining intralogistics and accompanying the transition to Industry 4.0.
Speakers: Guillaume Desveaux (AI Cargo Foundation), Pierre-Louis Debroise (Amazon), Thomas Steinmuller (AFILOG), Patrice Henrion (BOA Concept), Adrien Thiébault (Wavestone).
