The Society of Automotive Engineers (SIA) is organising an AI & Simulation seminar on 21 May 2026 at the Armand Peugeot Forum.
In the face of major technological developments in the automotive sector (electrification, connectivity, ADAS, etc.), growing competitive pressure and the arrival of new players, engineering development processes must evolve.
Objective: to reduce costs and lead times to ensure product competitiveness.
Numerical simulation is now widely established and indispensable, particularly in design and validation. Disruptive AI technologies are emerging to further accelerate engineers’ work.
The aim of this seminar is to present this (r)evolution by illustrating the contributions of AI across two themes:
The use of ‘Large Language Models’ (LLMs) and practical case studies, in relation to AI development The development of model reduction technologies and their applications for virtual sensors.
